 Transworld Terminals operates its container repair business 24 hours * 7 days a week providing repair service for steel, aluminium, open top containers, flat racks and refrigerated containers transiting all over the world terminals combining competitive rates with rapid turn-around time.
Containers repairs are estimated to customer specified standards and stacked according to status, awaiting inspection or authorisation, if repairs are required. Once authorised, repairs are undertaken meeting IICL standards or as required by the customer and units are available at any time for post repair inspection.
Multiple container repairs can be carried out simultaneously, both externally and in our covered workshops. Whatever the type of container, unlike many other repair agents, we undertake even the most complex repairs and refurbishments using our workshop facilities and skills in-house. We employ all of our repair staff to maintain the highest quality control and flexibility at all times.
Another successful aspect of the business is minor ship repair work, such as cell guide damage, hatch lid repairs, and other minor structural repairs, which can be carried out within the ship’s call timeframe at terminals without disruption to the cargo operations. A good stock of A36 steel plate and cell guide profiles are kept for most emergencies. A 24 hour service is offered for ship repair.
